So I was listening to @dzd's Okie Nights (*43951) & I absolutely loved his use of slide guitar in that psychedelic mælstrom of a song. And I got thinking: yeah I need to do more psych stuff. More crazy slide guitar havoc. And so, here it is.
Again: warning - this bounces past the eleven minute mark. If you're not suitably prepared for a psychedelic journey this lengthy, perhaps you should come back at another time.
So I loaded up my "Live" Jeskola Buzz Project, found a guitar tone that already had delay built into it, added some more (thanks to the Jeskola Delay Machine), turned up the distortion on my Grunge Pedal, grabbed my collection of slides (metal, glass, plastic), hit record & started playing. The fun was had c/o the different slides (including two copper nipples - again they are used to terminate the ends of copper pipes, so don't get too kinky on me here - that I used on the index & middle fingers of my fretting hand) as well as switching between the Mobius Looper & the Elottronix XL Frippertonics emulator for the loops. I was even saving the Mobius loops to my hard-drive as I was still playing - just so I could add more. It was a little hairy for a minute or two, but fun all the same.
That's what you get from a renegade vixen
