Liner Notes:

and with this my 20th album is done! I just have a few tweaks and then it'll be up.

This is just a simple ending piece, I used a bit from Heat since it has significance to me. It's a movie I watched right as all this began in March and it's just gotten better and better the more I think about it. DeNiro's amazing acting and Pacino as the perfect foil. Every shot was remarkable, just like the other Michael Mann movie I watched Thief, it was visually out of this world. DeNiro in his prime was so great at subtly, like the scenes in The Deer Hunter when he comes back from Vietnam and everyone's the same but he's changed. and in Heat when he can make an escape to a new life but instead he goes for revenge and acts on his principals that he lays out to Pacino in the restaurant scene. and then the ending! Wow.

Anyway this was going to be a full song but the album didn't need a big ending. So this is a very very simple bit and then some radio stuff I recorded on a blank tape before going to bed one night. I like to scroll around the radio sometimes and hear the static and voices poking through on AM. It's strange but it gives me a scene of another world or something like transmissions through the night...I don't know man it's just cool. This is really not much but I put it on here anyway to have all the songs from the album.

But yes this is just a short piece. I have a few things to finish up and then I don't know what I'm going to do for 50/90 next. I'll just follow my inspiration. I had a massive burst of revitalized energy when this started but naturally I've started to run out of juice. So we'll see what happens.

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

Good stuff - reminds me a bit of Rush! Congrats on finishing the album. If you like late-night radio transmission things, you need to check out "I Trawl the Megahertz" by Prefab Sprout.

The music you've got there is really pleasant sounding, it would actually be really good in a happy ending on a film haha.

It sounds a lot like The Who to me. I really liked all the film samples mixed in. Great mix, Kurtis!

Very cool composition. I like the radio effect at the start and the instrumental following and then radio back. Cool idea and realization.
