Liner Notes:

Another of the songs I've written lately to try to curb my anxiety. I like to think they are working, a little.

Lyrics:

Gonna unburden myself, that’s what I’m gonna do
Gonna unburden myself from you
Gonna unburden myself, that’s how I feel
Gonna unburden myself – this time it’s for real

No more stooped shoulders, no more sore back
no more headache, no more panic attack

Gonna unburden myself, to myself be true
Gonna unburden myself from you
Gonna unburden myself, that’s the deal
Gonna unburden myself – this time it’s for real

No more heartburn, no more belly achin’
No more sleepless nights, no more excuse makin’

Gonna unburden myself, bye bye and toodleloo
Gonna unburden myself from you
Gonna unburden myself, no more Achilles’ heel
Gonna unburden myself – this time it’s for real

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

How couldnt you listen to a song with those tags. Proof that you dont always need to over complicate thing. Nice one.

I like the woody guthrie kitchen session groove. Obviously self therapy or complaining about the pain that just stays there. Someone left but not. I'm a smoking consultant and I had a conversations with some clients recently who started smoking with a boyfriend, they broke up, but the smoking continued. Just like the pain. Hope you can use that as an inspiration. Or I can.

Love the rhythmic guitar and harmonica on this. Fun and toe-tapping, with some clever lyrics as well. The repeated "Gonna unburden myself" is a great hook unto itself. Impossible not to smile while listening!
