Liner Notes:

I used a few words from a Lyric Cloud again to get the ideas flowing. Still pondering the title and chorus....

Lyrics:

Hello How Are You

Sittin’ on a bench
Watching it rain
Wonderin’ if there’s someone
Feeling the same

People walking by
Talking on their cells
Never intertwining
Lives just parallel

[ch]
Hello how are you
Lays down tracks like a bridge
It’s a simple greeting
That can either hit or miss
Hello how are you
Fights with fierce appetites
As greed and competition
Dine by candlelight

Tired of all the running
Resting my sore feet
Tomorrow might be better
But is it really up to me

Listening to the chatter
Plans are being made
I wonder what’s important
To any given day

[ch]
Hello how are you
Lays down tracks like a bridge
It’s a simple greeting
That can either hit or miss
Hello how are you
Fights with fierce appetites
As greed and competition
Dine by candlelight

[br]
And we can live 100 years
With closed or open hearts
Think only of ourselves
And still be in the dark

Repeat ch

I love it. There's so much true is what you wrote in this.

Relatable subject, it is funny that the title is so upbeat, but the intent of the lyric isn't, it is deeper and more thoughtful...a surprise....nice write!

Wow, very powerful and relatable. Reminiscent of "Hello in There" in a very good way. You have created some nice imagery and powerful emotions. Very nice job!
