Liner Notes:

Went to the Lyric Cloud. Started a lyric and didn't like it. Got a blank page. Saw the words..."falling" & "snowflakes" in the cloud and out came this. Not sure about a few things, but I'm happy to have something!

Lyrics:

ROLL UP TO THE SUNRISE

Sunken towers
Buried dreams
How did they get
So torn at the seams

Broken windows
Long lost friends
What would you say if
You saw them again

[ch]
Oh, roll up to the sunrise
Don’t forget to take a ticket
The ride is pretty bumpy
But it’ll feel like just a minute
Go ahead take the reigns
When the day drives you mad
Or life knocks you to your knees
What other choice do you have

Falling snowflakes
Nature’s best
Be true and be real
Forget all the rest

Glowing diamonds
Melting snow
Keep your eyes on your heart
Wherever you go

[ch]
So roll up to the sunrise
Don’t forget to take a ticket
The ride is pretty bumpy
But it’ll feel like just a minute
Go ahead take the reigns
When the day drives you mad
Or life knocks you to your knees
What other choice do you have

[br]
Some things you will never outgrow
Some people you will never know
Sometimes tight is too tight
Somewhere it is daylight

Repeat ch

Just beautiful! I love snowflakes and can picture them falling while I read this. Will make a great song!

alot of great lines in there, and a really interesting, somewhat elliptical yet engaging lyric!

Oh, what lovely thoughts and images in this one. Smile Absolutely engaging. If you decide to revisit the lyric post-Challenge, you've got the makings of at least two wonderful lyrics. Smile But I imagine this one will be picked up quickly by a collaborator. Smile
