Liner Notes:

I have lots of somewhat profound thoughts as I walk the dog. Here's my latest dog-walking realization.

Lyrics:

Had a revelation…
as I walked the dog
through the neighborhood
I feel kinda guilty that my life is
so damn good

Got a wife who likes me
23 years she’s still around
Got a kid stays out of trouble
Sometimes I bring ‘em down

Got a roof over our heads
even if sometimes it leaks
My body mostly does what I want
even if sometimes it creaks

Had a revelation…
I get a certain way – way more often than I should
I feel kinda guilty that my life is
so damn good

I gotta stay informed, and
sure, the world’s in disarray
But I got a garden
Gonna plant some sunflowers today

And it’s sure a wonder
with all that’s going on
I can take my garbage to the curb
and it gets picked up before dawn

Had a revelation…
stop feeling sorry for myself, do unto others
and knock on wood
I feel kinda guilty that my life is
so damn good
Gonna stop feeling guilty that my life is so damn good

Awesome! I"m happy you can share some of your life and talents with us!

Nice reflective track with the normal Chip sunny laid back feel. The got a wife that likes me line stood out, it's like Thunder Road "you ain't a beauty but hey you're alright". Enjoyable listen!
