Liner Notes:

The title is pretty self-explanatory really. In Britain, Friday was the day that masks were supposed to become compulsory in shops, but I still saw a woman without a mask barge past both the queue and the protesting shop assistant to get into Tescos. This song is about how annoyed that made me.

Drums courtesy of an antique table.

Lyrics:

Walking down the aisle
Looking for some bread
When an older lady
Passes inches from my head

Walking down the street
Making my way home
When in a man in a high-viz vest
Encroaches on my zone

Get the fuck away from me!
Respect my mortality!
And while you're at it, wear a mask
It shouldn't be too much to ask

Stood waiting in a queue
Nicely far apart
When someone comes so close
I can the beating of their heart

I go to the bank
To pay off my debts
When my space is invaded
By a man in a muscle vest

Get the fuck away from me!
Respect my mortality!
And while you're at it, wear a mask
I shouldn't even have to ask..

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

the music is a heavier approach to the sex pistols prototype and the vocals lie somewhere between the fall and an english variation on suicudal tendencies. i love this stuff and a terrific job has been done here. i only wish the vocals were louder.

Yeah! Same here, man. You perfectly channel the bewildered rage and frustration so many of us are experiencing right now.
