I love a country song with lyrics about hurtin' and drinkin' so when I saw Cindy's heart tuggin' lyric...I couldn't resist!

Lyrics:

I'll drink you under the table
I'll drink any old brew
I'll drink until I can't stand up
But I'll never drink away you

I'll drink some Kentucky Bourbon
I'll drink some fancy wine
I'll drink an ice cold bottle of beer
But I still ain't gonna be fine

Ain't no liquor strong enough
To block the taste of you
Ain't no whiskey bold enough
To take away these blues
Ain't no liquor strong enough to take away these blues

I'll drink at home in a bar
I'll drink in any location
I'll drink for the sake of drinkin'
But it won't be my salvation

Ain't no liquor strong enough
To block the taste of you
Ain't no whiskey bold enough
To take away these blues
Ain't no liquor strong enough to take away these blues

No concoction
No Jack
Will ever
Bring you back

Ain't no liquor strong enough
To block the taste of you
Ain't no whiskey bold enough
To take away these blues
Ain't no liquor strong enough to take away these blues

Wonderful classic country waltz feel that delivers the lyrics so perfectly! Great tears in the beer song! Love the vocals - you have that country drawl down perfectly.

Oh boy, what a classic tear-in-your-beer (literally!) tune! Love the slightly tipsy melody and delivery--really felt like I was sitting next to you at the bar in some lonesome honky tonk.

That is down to Cindy's great lyrics and I thank you so much for your comment...

I would hate to have to pick what my favorite collaboration is: Cindy and Marthie, or Cindy and Gwyn.

ALWAYS a great job on lyrics, Cindy--you know that. And, Gwyn. Gwyn, Gwyn, Gwyn... Amazing stuff, as always.

Great job, you guys!
