Liner Notes:

I dunno, just trying to give myself some good advice? The edge, well, brink, and cliff are metaphors for a mental state of confusion (in case any of you were worried about me-- not that I'd expect you would be but yeah).

Lyrics:

Step back from the edge
Stop staring down the well
Things are not that confusing
Listen to what people tell

Breathe deep
Think deep
Relax
Get sleep
It's not
So bad
No need to
Be sad

Step back from the brink
Don't gaze off the cliff
Things are not all that hard
Don't let your mind drift

Breathe deep
Drink deep
Relax
Get sleep
It's not
So bad
No need to
Be sad

Tonight you don't have to get stuck
Tonight you can let it all ride
Tonight you won't stay in the muck
Tonight you can let your dreams glide

Breathe deep
Drink deep
Relax
Get sleep
It's not
So bad
No need to
Be sad

I like how concise and on point your words and chords are, they make a strong and uplifting message. I can imagine this tune in a college rock outfit.

Love that mandolin! A great lift to not only you but anyone can feel better after this!

Some good advice. The music elevated the mood of the lyrics. Nice pairing. Chin up.

Super catchy tune made better by your use of a mandolin.
Mandolins make everything better.
Great lyrics; I can totally get behind your advice.
This one would work with a full rock band outfit, too.

I really like the contrast between the sound of the mandolin and the pure rock energy behind the whole thing. I really like how you extend the word "sad" in the chorus. Really nice!

This is a good one, really like the mandolin, feels timeless.
