Liner Notes:

A collaboration with @kahlo2013 she wtoe a biographical song about Paris and Brussels and here is some music that I think goes with it.
I worked in Paris for a few years and the lyrics struck a chord with me.

Lyrics:

Brussels and Paris

V1
outdoor cafes
expresso and wine
vast parks and ruins
warm sunshine

art museums
glimmers of light
street musicians
summer nights

stone bridges
endless river banks
making memories
on a few francs

C
I went to
Brussels and Paris
at seventeen
I went to
Brussels and Paris
for a change of scene...
and what a change it was..
what a change it was
when it forever changed me

V2
moonlit journeys
cobblestone streets
flirting in French
people to meet

different places
sleepless nights
hearts and clothes torn
struggles and fights

old cathedrals
gothic designs
lighting candles for
sin-filled hard times

C
I went to
Brussels and Paris
I was seventeen
I went to
Brussels and Paris
and what a change it was..
what a change it was
when it forever changed me

B
photographs still remind me
of the good times I had
but Kodachrome didn’t capture
vivid images I hold close
of those dangerous and bad

C
I went to
Brussels and Paris
I was seventeen
I went to
Brussels and Paris
and what a change it was..
what a change it was
when it forever changed me

Nice clean playing and pace changes. It was a good Liz lyric. Nice collab.

Awesome collab - a charming combination of your talents! Evocative, happily melancholy (I think that makes sense!).

Really lovely music here - love the piano and guitar combination and the jazzy vocal melody... some beautiful chords as well. Lyrics really evoke the scene ... I really like the Kodachrome line! Beautiful song.
