How could this @cindyrella lyric NOT be put to a reggae tune? I love it Smile

That Beach
© 2020 Cindy Prince
Music: Corey Stewart

A busload of seniors
On a gorgeous Florida beach
A little too much drinking
Celebrating what we'd reached
The end of our school life
And onto the rest of our days
That great week we spent there
Was perfect in every way

Chorus
Panama City Beach
Heaven at last
Looking back now
It was such a blast
That beach was such a blast

That last night we sat there
On the beach and talked and talked
We wondered what was ahead
What paths that we would walk
A soft rain came in
With the scent of salty air
If I close my eyes right now
I am still sitting there

Repeat chorus

Excellent feel to this track, it's a very feel good song. The lyrics are good also, a lot of amusing details. Love that bassline! Watery guitar solo, an excellent touch. This is undeniable a fantastic summer song, good job both of you!

Yep! Great reggae song. Is there such a thing as a BAD reggae song? Nice working of Cindy's always terrific lyrics. I love reggae and one of my most popular songs ever was a reggae song. (Not done during this 50/90 though).

Reggae, yes, but this has its own identity with some luau like energy!

I never had much connection to any school mates, this takes me to a different kind of energy. Very refreshing to me at least. Smile
