Liner Notes:

Good Lord, it's like I've forgotten how to do everything... Please forgive my sloppy recording.

Lyrics:

V
You said that you would write
Oh you said that you would call
But my phone isn’t ringing
Are you tryin’ hard to stall?

Not gonna wait around
For a guy who plays these games
I’m looking for a real man
To ignite my flames

PC
Oh it could be you
But you’d better figure out
How to treat a woman
Oh you’re giving me doubts

C
Stop being clumsy with my heart
If you think you wanna start
Something with me
Gotta do better
Oh better than that

Cuz I’ve been hurt before
Not going there anymore
Something with me
Is so much better
Than you’ve had before

Stop being clumsy with my heart
If you think you wanna start
Something with me
Is so much better
Than you’ve had before

I actually like the rawness of the recording - it lets your personality shine through the vocal. Nice soaring melody delivered with soul and grit.

I dunno about a "sloppy recording"; I'm hearing it as a track from your best-selling live album!
Great confident guitar work.
Nice chord progression.
Excellent work!

"Clumsy with my heart" is a great creative twist on the prompt. Track didn't sound too clumsy to me. Good write.

Well, you sound like you mean it, so I'd say that's a successful recording. Catchy melody, and "don't be clumsy with my heart" is a really good hook for this song.

Great vocals and catchy tune. The transitions from verse to pre-chorus to chorus works so well. And the chorus is really hooky! I can picture a country version of this hitting the charts.
