This song explores what's going on at present in the World with a string of disasters and shifts in where we're heading.

Lyrics:

A reason for hope:

CAPO 2, Alternative Tuning:

Went out walking late last night,
Heard the peace on the street,
Child being read to by her Pa,
Just as she drifts off to sleep.

My mug just fell to the floor
Sound echoes through every cell door
Somehow some people just seem to know
I think there’s a reason for hope

I won’t even criticise
The foolish things that I despise
But like the bear I’ll sleep tonight
Knowing they’ll be a dawn

No need to ignore or dismiss
The darkness in the troubled witness
The concern is a window clear for use
I think there’s a reason for hope

Like any other living form
That h through every storm
I will sleep so sound tonight knowing they'll be a dawn

Mystical healing or maybe change
There's force beyond sure at play
Turned upside down for sure
I think there’s a reason for hope
Somehow some people just seem to know
I think there’s a reason for hope

REPEAT VERSE

my favorite song of todays listening spree. so gently performed yet so full of a resolved rage, npw put to bed in favor of a lilting acceptance. i love the rhyme I won’t even criticise The foolish things that I despise. for me, those words sum up the shift in consciousness brought on by this plague.

nice song. those understated vocals yet biting commentary. very good listen

Pretty song, and a message of hope is really a good thing right about now. I like the wordless vocals, that was a nice addition. Nice blend of the two guitar parts.

every cell door is a great metaphore for the lockdowns. Loving the gentle lullaby (and dreamy ahh bridge), which echoes the calming sense in these crazy times. Enjoyed my listen.

Beautiful work. The warm tone of the music really mirrors the idea of hope nicely.
