prompt harvest

Got started an hour late. Shopping day. $5 off at Dollar General. Hey, that's like a free pizza!

Made up the lyric while shopping. Needs another verse. Dunno which part is the chorus.

What You Growed

You can harvest sorrow
You can harvest pain
If all you've got to harvest
Is based on loss and gain

You can harvest wonder
You can harvest love
If everything you harvest
Is what you're dreaming of.

Plant your seeds
Do your deeds
Try to meet your basic needs
At the end of the day you hope you've done your best

What you growed is what you sowed
Walking down life's winding road
Got a little left over
To heck with all the rest

I love all the things you can harvest and the message in the song. Thanks for using the bonus words too! As always your music is top notch. Wonderful take on the skirmish.

Excellent! Quietly anthemic. Soulful vocal.
I think the word "harvest" - rustic, autumnal - lends itself to country/folk songs such as yours. Nice one!

Looking at the lyrics...builds nicely into the chorus with a strong message about doing your deeds and doing your best. Havest has been covered. Nice job on this...I'm ready for the audio now...hold. guitar intro...vocals now...sounds good...can clearly understand the lyrics...everything you havest s what your dreaming of. Chorus now sounds great. Excellent job on this!
