Pizza Roll

When we met you seemed real nice
Thought I might like a slice
But as it turned out
Wasn't no good at all
You left me achin'
Couldn't bring home the bacon
You're just a processed doll

You were a bad time giver
You just couldn't deliver
No guarantee that I get my dinner for free
I wanted pepperoni
All I got was a bunch of baloney
That sure didn't taste good to me

Funny how word gets around
Talk is risin' all over town
How you might call your conversation breezy
When people meetcha
They say you got a crust like pizza
To me your talk just sounds cheesy

Thought you was a deep dish
Didn't get what I wished
Bein' with you made me want to be on my own
It ain't surprisin'
There's pizza rolls on my horizon
Have to eat my supper all alone.

This is a wonderfully playful lyric and the music is perfect. Awesome.

I really like your guitar playing, it's very good. I like that lead playing and the 'verb on it is a tasty touch. The lyric is fun/funny. I like how you use the metaphor all throughout. Good stuff.
