Liner Notes:

Not sure they all change though! I remember feeling like this - fortunately when i was young - and i did learn! Enjoyed playing with the harmonies on this! a bit of work to do but this one is a bit more complete!

Lyrics:

I Thought i knew it all
but got played like a fool

Not sure how i got here
its was my greatest fear

Now it all looks so stark
Im feeling left in the dark

No overflowing cup
Suppose i better get up

But everyone learns sometime
Everyone learns
Yes everyone learns
Everyone learns sometime

yeah like a fool i fell
Didn’t do very well

Everything seems slower
I couldn’t get much lower

I just cant believe
The way that you would leave

I Thought it was all fine
Felt it was for all time

But Everyone learns sometime
Yes everyone learns
Everyone learns sometime

instrumental
I Thought i knew it all
but got played like a fool

I Thought it was all fine
Felt it was for all time

But Everyone learns sometime
Yes everyone learns
Everyone learns sometime

Felt oh so stupid
To be dumped by cupid

I realise shoulda known
Youd moved on an grown

Never read between the lines
Guess i missed the signs

So now its all gone
Got a learn what went wrong

Coz
everyone learns sometime
Everyone learns
Yes everyone learns
Everyone learns sometime x 2

It has an interesting pachelbel cannon feel to it, -- good one, well done.

Very cool! Great subject and this played that out fine!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure everyone learns eventually. Just about everyone at least. This has a nice easy feel to the track with some harder to swallow lyrics. That works well. Had the music been angsty, it could have come off as angry. Instead it feels introspective and accepting. You have some good rhymes in here. Stark/dark. Stupid/Cupid. I like those lots.

Universal themed lyric that everyone can identify. Love the guitar work. The double vocal works well and is haunting.

this has an amiable feel that draws me in. i remember getting this feeling from some other songs from australia back in the 60s. it might be in the subtlle yet distinctive developmnt of the melody, and the gently yet committed vocals. good song.
