A fast one to get closer to 50.

Lyrics:

I don't know what the future holds for me
I guess it's wrapped up in a mystery
Just like you
And all the things you do

Whenever I start talking about next week
You always say we better wait and see
What the future holds
You say it's out of our control

But I think you mean you just don't wanna be tied down
You're making me think that you might not be around
You better let me know if you wanna stick with me
'Cause I'm not gonna wait for an eternity

I heard you talking to some of your friends
Saying you think we could be near the end
Said you didn't know
But you'll figure it out, you suppose

Well, I don't mind if you ask these questions
I always thought we had a deep connection
But you gotta decide
Are you leaving me tonight?

But I think you mean you just don't wanna be tied down
You're making me think that you might not be around
You better let me know if you wanna stick with me
'Cause I'm not gonna wait for an eternity

But I think you mean you just don't wanna be tied down
You're making me think that you might not be around
You better let me know if you wanna stick with me
'Cause I'm not gonna wait for an eternity

That opening riff is great. The melody is instantly hummable. Nice work for a quick write!

Love the flow of this melody and the cool guitar riff. The words ring true in so many ways. It seems that there is one person at various times in a relationship that have ambivalence or apprehension for the future. Great chorus.

ill join the choir of praise for your guitar breaks. the song proper is a keeper, sometimes the best songs slip right out. i dont think mozart gave much thought to what he was composing. the music was inside him and he let it pour out. this song reminds me of a girl who kept telling me how ucky we were to have found each other..right up to the minute she walked out on me, after ten yeaars her only comment was,"well its not as though we are married"
