pfoo: I heard a pop song when I read these lyrics, so that's where I went. I had a lot of fun working on it Smile

Lyrics:

V1
Between the lines
And between you and me
I think you’re kinda cute

Lanky and dark
Your smile’s quite the spark
You've a sharp mind to boot

C
Between the devil and the deep blue sea
Somehow we’ll make it through each day
Between a rock and a very hard place
You keep taking my breath away

V2
Between the sheets
And between love and lust
I think I always knew

Lost in your eyes
Every touch a surprise
Ecstasy through and through

C
Between the devil and the deep blue sea
Somehow we’ll make it through each day
Between a rock and a very hard place
You keep taking my breath away

Groovy!!! I LOVE this so much. Move over Nancy Sinatra! The world needs more organ, tambourine, and sassy vocals, does it not? I am one happy lyricist! <3

Love the Farfisa and the 60s-style harmonies. These lyrics have a cool rhythm and lend themselves well to the upbeat treatment. Catchy chorus too!

This is a really cool song, straightforward lyrics, and effortless music. There are some early sixties girl group influences in the organ and fresh singing and also with the chorus lyrics that bring a classic pop vibe. The guitar and rough sound are more modern as are the "sensual" lyrics of the verse. So it's a nice combination of old and new and what's more important it's catchy, upbeat and makes me wanna dance. Smile Great collab, ladies.

this song is a lot of fun and brings back a lot of the teenaged sounds i havent heard in quite a while.

Ha...nice garage pop rock, the kind of thing I used to listen to in basements sticky with beer. A tasty number for sure

This had a sort of Blondie effect on me. The way they always sounded like they had a foot in the early 60s girl group sound.
I like the simplicity, I don't think I've ever heard you do pop before.
