Liner Notes:

CTS sez: This bit o' jelly was concocted during a recording session at Eric and Patti's house. I was called in to do some vocal overdubs for Eric and Nancy's EP and a bit of creative collaboration with Eric @airbagtester. A few glitches here and there but it all worked out in the end. Some nice work was created. I dubbed my bass part after the fact because I was concentrating on the electric energy muse that was working in the room at that time, and kicked out the lyrics and vocal arrangement. I also wanted the mix to be as raw as possible. I think I may have succeeded. Thanks guys for having me over and giving me the privilege to play, sing and record with you on that day. I'll never forget it!

Guitars: @standup, @airbagtester
Drums: @pfoo
Bass, lyrics and vocals: CTS

Lyrics:

Your mind's a freight train
Information is your freeway
Your hesitation is a giveaway
2 all the freedom that's deferred inside

They system's sabotaged
Equal status is a fake mirage
Your willingness 2 find a triage
Is useless cause it's just the blind following the blind

The cure is hard 2 find
Because the strain is of different kind
Scientific verdict never mind
2 make it better is a waste of time

BRIDGE

Your mind's a freight train
Information is your freeway
Your hesitation is a giveaway
2 all the freedom that's deferred inside

They system's sabotaged
Equal status is a fake mirage
Your willingness 2 a triage
Is useless cause it's just the blind following the blind

The kicks R head induced
U shrug it off the purpose what's the use
But yet in still U want 2 get loose
And free yourself from the bread circus and wine

BRIDGE 2

Your mind's a freight train
Information is your freeway
Your hesitation is a giveaway
2 all the freedom that's deferred inside

They system's sabotaged
Equal status is a fake mirage
Your willingness 2 a triage
Is useless cause it's just the blind following the blind

The rhythm's in your face
The beat is cryptic and it's hard 2 trace
Like fallen angels there's no sign of grace
And all the music's out of sequence, space and time

This is very well done, a very good production and an awesome all round performance. Very nice rock song!

This is a great jam - much fun was clearly being had in the room (I love Craig's "Whoooo!") and it's impossible not to get carried along by the enthusiasm. The groove has a definite Rolling Stones vibe to it, and it's really tight. Awesome job, folks!

I love this!!!! what a great groove, great lyric (love the choice of words/rhymes) and great performance--- fun, funky and intense. Love those instrumental bridge things too.. really keeps the energy flowing! Wish i had been in the room while this was going on, ha!

I was thinking the same as Mike when I saw the collaborators and heard the opening lines--I wish I had been in that room, too, with y'all. Fun song and groove, lots of attitude and @cts kicks it up a notch with the vocals at the end. Great to hear it.

How did I miss this awesomeness? Love the groove you have going together, and those amazing improvised vocals. Add me to the chorus of folks who wish they'd been there! The mix is raw but also clean - nice to be able to hear everything very clearly.

I love the reverb on the guitar. What a cool feel this has. The groove is cool and the vocals are really good. This is a good one, I'm enjoying listening quite a bit.

As the others already said: great energy in the room! The rawness fits very well.

We obviously had a good time working on this one Smile Love the finished version with bass!

It was so AWESOME being able to jam with the 3 of yinz. My 5090 availability was virtually nothing this year, so being able to do things like FAWMstock and some live jammin' was time well-cherished by me. Biggrin
