Liner Notes:

This one has been around for a while - maybe a month. I had a crazy time in July i just wrote and wrote . Im now tidying them up. In a way this is one of my favs but i still have not got it how i want it! Thought i would go now and just start playing it live and see how it can improve. gets its first run on stage on Saturday (as do 4 others from 50/90))

Lyrics:

3 Long Days

C Its been 3 long days since you walked out the door
Ive got an awful feeling you aren't coming back no more

V1 Ive been upstairs theres nothing there
You've taken all your things
And on the table side by side
Lay both of your rings

C Its been 3 long days since you walked out of the door
Ive got an awful feeling you aren't coming back no more

V2 I wished i known i wish that i really didn't care
But when all is considered i know life isn't fair

C Oo oo the chorus

V3 Im still living with hope, I'm waiting for the phone
I cant make the transition to being all alone

C Its been 3 long days since you walked out of the door
Ive got an awful feeling you aren't coming back no more

Instrumental l

B Its time to realise
No matter why or how
The simple plain truth is
Its all over now

C Its been 3 long days since you walked out of the door
Ive got an awful feeling you aren't coming back no more

C Its been 3 long days since you walked out of the door
Ive got an awful feeling you aren't coming back no more

PC Ive got an awful feeling
Ive got an awful feeling
Ive got an awful feeling you aren't coming back no more

Outtro No more hm hm no more hm hm
Ive got an awful feeling you aren't coming back no more

realy noce production and impeccable singing on this classic country heartbreak song. nice melodic twists and i especially like the chorus. the oo oo chorus also works very well,

Looking at your liner notes...I just wanted to tell you that I don't get to play anymore because they ended Open Mic night this year, took the chairs out, and put a bunch more guitars, sadly. Ok, I'm sure it will sound good but let's look at the lyrics. Oh, and you might be a pro musician...I don't know and just guessing it will be an open mic.

Looking at the lyrics...

Time out: my fingernails are so long I can barely type it so I'll be making my notes with Dragon NaturallySpeaking.

Looking at the lyrics....very powerful opening chorus. verse one is very sad and certainly does look like the end. v2 very strong and you can feel the regret. Something similar actually happened to me except there were no rings left behind. changeup chorus with the ooh oh works nicely. verse three is very sad waiting by the phone. This is a classic country song. Chorus and instrumental now. The bridge is very strong and three days is enough.the Indian PC connectthe heartbreak with the reality.a very sad outro. (side note...dragon didn't help much). I'm ready for the audio now. hold. Nice country music...vocals now...sounds good...can clearly understand the lyrics...on the table...oh god your rings....it's been 3 days since you walked out the door...I wish I didn't care....I know life isn't fair....oooh oooh....nice melody...strong performance...guitars sound great...solo...sounds great...it's time to realize....it's all over now...it's been 3 long days....I've got an aweful feeling you ain't coming back no more...ending. Very nice John. One of my favorites.

Love the combination of the acoustic guitar and very nice electric guitar tones, and the parts mesh well.

Really gripping imagery, the empty room, the rings side by side. Short but really effective chorus.

Nice playing on the bit before the bridge, the surf-esque tones are nice.

Really good country flavored mid-tempo song. I think that the man here is either over-optimistic or he really didn't believe she would leave. Probably because he loved her so much. That's a nice not-obvious way to tell things. Chorus is emotional and honest, without the words it's pure yearning. This is bonza!

This is a sad one. I think the rhythm of the words in the chorus express the emotion very well. Such heartbreak as the story sits in that realization that this person is not coming back and the repetition of "I've got an awful feeling". Heartfelt delivery too.
