Liner Notes:

Written quickly in my motorhome while evacuated

Lyrics:

They used to say he's different
Like it was something bad
Now being different
Is often just a fad

Different is different
Neither bad nor good
And I am no fool
Maybe just a little unconventianol

People would raise there eyebrows
Say he's a little odd
others would hero worship
Like I was a tinpot God

Different is different
Neither bad nor good
And I am no fool
Maybe just a little unconventianol

I didn't do it for fame
I am just plain me
I am what I am I do what want
I'm am what I want to be

Different is different
Neither bad nor good
And I am no fool
Maybe just a little unconventianol

Time had moved on
Not sure now whats in store
But I reckon soon
Nothing will be different anymore

Different is different
Neither bad nor good
And I am no fool
Maybe just a little unconventianol

I like the unrhyming last line of the chorus. Not a conventional way of doing it, eh? But it works very well here, with this title. I also like the "i didn't do it..." verse. It leaves me filling in the blanks with my imagination.

Really wonderful message in the chorus and wonderful character development. I really like the direction that you took this prompt and the nod to respecting and celebrating our differences as long as they are true to us... but I hope our differences and uniqueness will never go away.

First, evacuated? Ok, that's inconvenient and unconventional...well, you have an RV so maybe your ok. Nah, let's look at the lyrics...nice opening two verses and you always seemed to me since I've known you as a man with an open mind. A timpot god...wow! Yeah, different is different and we were taught to think that way rather than right or wrong. I am what I want to be...nice. Nah, nothing ever changes IMHO. Neither bad or good is repeated a lot and a pretty strong hook. Great job on this John.
