Liner Notes:

Just trying to get one more in, as August comes to a close. Nice topic for a skirmish - water.
Kind of short, but the hour is up.

Lyrics:

Still the Water Flowed

V1
So many things have come and gone
So many tales... so many songs
So many rights... and so many wrongs
And still... the water flowed

V2
I learned from others, here and there
Parents and siblings with knowledge to spare
Passed down to my kids - the truth laid bare
And still... the water flowed

Ch
Time and space are ever-changing
Reacquainting... rearranging
Love and life are ripe for taming
So the story goes...
And still... the water flowed
And still... the water flowed

Br
What was old is new once more
History brought to the fore
Where land and water meet once more
The two face off along the shore
And still... the water flowed

Solo

Ch
Time and space are ever-changing
Reacquainting... rearranging
Love and life are ripe for taming
So the story goes...
And still... the water flowed
And still... the water flowed

nice lyric! seems to express alot with that great title phrase.... and some great word choices in there, too...

The last two lines of the chorus repeating like that...reminds me a lot of Sting's insightful writing style. I dig this!

Beautiful lyrics and take on a skirmish theme. I like the way you use water in your lyrics. Very good structure.

This is lovely. I get a strong sense of tradition and family from this. Also a nod to coming to America over the sea maybe. And the water still flowing - so nice. This one is so inspiring I think I might have a demo ready for this one in a day or two.

The first two lines could describe your journey through 50/90 this year, Klaus. LOL
