Liner Notes:

I'm not sure what to say about this song. I did not spend much time on these minimal lyrics. But here they are, and here I am singing (or talking).

It has guitar, MS20 synth bass, programmed drums, and some MIDI bells.

depression to
fear to
wisdom to

nightmare to
thought to
dream to

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

you say a great deal in that very pared-down lyric- alot of real wisdom there, and a wonderfully enveloping soundscape for a musical track- well done!!!

this so much made me think of Madonna
I could hear and imagine her doing this
you never know
loved this

A lot of feelings compressed here, the droning, brooding instrumental is a very good accompaniment to the hopeless lyrics.

I like the interlude between 0:50 and 1:15. A strange call to action.

Those lush washes of reverb are pushing all the right buttons for me. The clarity of the bells up there in the top frequencies really contrasts nicely against them.

The cut-back lyrics are great; each verse progresses from hopelessness to hope, just as they should.

What headfirstonly said-- and add a little bouquet of hand-picked flowers. I'm liking your stuff.

Like a traveller reading the road signs on a night trip out of a town called Depression.
The repetitive motifs and monotone vocal communicate the slow arduosness of the journey.
You have done some great stuff this 50/90!
