Liner Notes:

A sloppy improvisation from the Tuesday July 30 session with the Catalytic Perverters. Murray did a pretty good job following my erratic chord changes. We usually find our darkness with having to turn to the minor chords, but not this time. I played with the lyrical idea a bit, but it eventually descends into a mumble tree vocal.

Lyrics:

you could have cried me a river
or bled me a puddle
I wouldn't listen
could not change my mind
at the time
you could have cried me a river
or bled me a puddle

could not change my mind
at the time

{you could poison the water feed}
{block out the sun}
{could not change my mind}

Bled me a puddle--that's a great twist on the better know phrase that precedes it. I like the driving insistence of this notion that the singer will not change his mind. So true, sometimes...and depressing

Love the rawness of the vocals and the warping of the guitars. It really gets the message across
