Liner Notes:

This is a syn I committed.

More precisely, it is my synthesis of @Jibbidy34's "Bubbles" http://fiftyninety.fawmers.org/song/37575 and @metalfoot's "Pop Goes the Bubble" http://fiftyninety.fawmers.org/song/37775

It took me a while to digest these to where I was able to excrete my synthesis. I also had difficulty finding time to work it all out.

In the end I changed up "Bubbles" a bit with minor chords. I was having trouble working in metalfoot's song. I eventually decided that transposing up a whole step worked best. I opted for the mellower bit of his song. The more manic bit appealed to me, but I couldn't figure out a way to fit it in. I do a slight nod to it with the F#7 chord at the end of each phrase (stanza?) of that part. I then return to the first song, in the new register and changing the IV chord major (something like that).

I didn't keep much of the lyrics, except the bubbles. I also kept the laughter, though it seems to have changed its demeanor. My lyrics are about bubble dimensions, how it is an essentially pointless theory as it is not provable, and some of that jazz.

Lyrics:

infinite inflating bubble dimensions
extruded from strings or belief in suspension
as if you are in one, you can never know
if other bubbles exist at all

inside each bubble, the laws are consistent
infinitely the same, infinitely different
if bubbles collide, well nobody knows
if they merge or if they explode

I'm on the inside
of an eternally expanding bubble
I'm on the inside
it's all I know

I'm on the inside
of an eternally expanding bubble
I'm on the inside
it's all I know
it's all I can know

infinite inflating bubble dimensions
extruded from strings or belief in suspension
as if you are in one, you can never know
if other bubbles exist at all

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

Hey, I set a really weird task for you with my anti to Georgie's song -- this is an impressive syn. Nice work! And yeah, nice discussion of bubble theory too.

haven't heard the chain yet but as i start my syn of this and coolparadiso's anti to this that i haven't listened to yet - this stands on its own as an interesting and appealing song that i am looking forward to working with Smile

I like the minor sound to this and was not expecting it with the title. There is a wonderfully surreal kind of abstract feel to the lyric. Great delivery!
