Demo:

Liner Notes:

This is for those who have been saying my tracks are too short. But DON'T hit play if you really don't like 20-plus minute guitar improvisations over a canned backing track (from one of my songs called "Hidden Meaning" recorded many, many years ago). So this isn't exactly a new piece, but the interpretation and improvisation certainly is.

Recorded with the amps in a different part of the house and cranked to 11 to get the sound I wanted. Not to annoy the neighbours though this time. They're in Devon on holiday. Wink

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

‘Plank spanking fret wanking’ May find its way into some lyrics of mine someday. And this is fantastic! Love the awesome guitars on this! Incredible riffs and the music ebbs and flows building and backing away perfectly to hold my interest. I’m awe-struck!

A track named after my favourite dish at Wagamama? Well, of *course* I'm going to listen to the whole thing, self-indulgence be damned. Mmmm, noodles...
(Yes, I see what you did there.)

I detected an Eric Johnson vibe very early on, both in the style of arpeggios and the tone. And that tone! Oh, my word! That is the sound of amplifiers having to do some proper work for a change. The low-end growl that you're getting is gorgeous. The occasional use of the whammy pedal/pitch shifter really adds an extra level of sparkle, doesn't it? I liked the drop into a lower-gain tone at 14:36 - it provides a nice contrast with the more ear-melting bits!

Great background music. I almost forgot I was on 50/90 and thought I had the rock station at radio on. Great vibe.
