Bit derivative but it's a song innit

Lyrics:

We've been sailing on an ocean deep and dark
The crashing waves almost swallowed up this craft
And the boat got holes, but we patched them all
And the sky grew dark, but we flew right on through that storm

And baby there's that harbour
Swinging into view
And it's not much farther
We'll be sleeping every night on a big four-poster
Waking up to fresh ground
Me and you, me and you

There’s no shade here, with the open sky above
I let my hair down and you closed your eyes against the sun
And the fire burned, but the water soothed
And before too long, we made it out of that endless blue

And baby there's that harbour
Swinging into view
And it's not much farther
We'll be sleeping every night on a big four-poster
Dreaming we can hold each other even closer
Waking up to fresh ground
Me and you, me and you

If you get stuck in those days in your mind
Turn to me and look into my eyes

And baby there's that harbour
Swinging into view
And it's not much farther
We'll be sleeping every night on a big four-poster
Dreaming we can hold each other even closer
Waiting for the morning when we kiss hello, and
Waking up to fresh ground
Me and you, me and you

These lyrics are moving and I can feel the emotion in your vocals. It's a lovely song

picturesque lyrics and a break out chorus kept me enthralled on this ride through the storm to a new day,

This is really lovely. That chorus and extended metaphor are wonderful. The nuances of the images you create are perfect. And your delivery and phrasing are so deliciously good. Love your style and sensibility.

This is lovely. I particularly like how the chorus starts out with some space and then picks up and tumbles over itself really delightfully as it goes on. The phrasing throughout, really, is excellent.

Instant watchlist after like 3 seconds of listening. Love your voice, the variations in textures and rhythms and timbre in the arrangement that tell a story even without the beautiful lyrics. The soar in the chorus is gorgeous.

Absolutely beautiful. My favourite so far of yours.

Beautiful guitar utilising a lovely muted picking style in the verses, full gorgeous chords in the chorus, and that perfect voice of yours to top it off!

I love the lyrics too, with a great choice of title to boot!

Second listen;

“If you get stuck in those days in your mind
Turn to me and look into my eyes”

That’s so good.
