Liner Notes:

Heading to bed and I picked up the guitar which was either a mistake (as I'm not getting any sleep) or fortuitous (as this song came pouring out.)

Lyrics:

I saw your picture hanging lonely
Hanging lonely on the wall
I lkept walking ever slowly
I slowly stumble down the hall

Though my thoughts drift back to you again
I won't cry
When I fall down missing you again
I won't cry
I won't cry

They told me you weren't feeling healthy
All those many years ago
They diagnosed you incorrectly
And so they dealt a mortal blow

Though my thoughts drift back to you again
I won't cry
When I fall down missing you again
I won't cry
I won't cry

I know you told me before you left us
We've gotta be strong and carry on
So I catch my tears and dry them
Though I wish you'd never gone

Though my thoughts drift back to you again
I won't cry
When I all down missing you again
I won't cry
I won't cry

More songs, less sleep! Beautiful song, mournful lyrics match the guitar tone really well.

love the chord progression - must be a good time for you to write - this is pretty darned good!

that first guitar chord must have summoned the song. it is as sad as it is slow ad dark in the middle of the night,

TC this is so gorgeous! Beautifully tender and bittersweet. While the lyrics say that you will not very it brought tears to my eyes. Lovely.

Damn T.C., this is brilliant! I love everything about it! The melody has a strong hook of its own. The lyrical hook, I Won't Cry, is truly awesome! Really pretty guitar work and your vocals are ace! I'm glad you sacrificed sleep for this gem!

Good melody.
I really like what you did in the first verse, using 'lonely' and 'slowly' to tie the lines together.
