Liner Notes:

I've been listening to Jackson Browne for a few days, and inspired by all that or blatantly ripping it off, I wrote this sort of "Fare Thee Well" song...

Lyrics:

Now I wish nothing but the best for you
in the time we have remaining,
After all the fanfare and the big to-do,
and the ticker-tape parading.

You were more than a friend to me
When we shared the joy and sorry
Well we had our shot at yesterday
but we never promised tomorrow

-chorus-
When the evening shadows fall,
in our Life's Late December,
will the pages written in our book
make us smile when we remember.
-

Well we took the bad times with the good
but we never stopped to notice
for the sound that crushed us on the tracks
like a runaway locomotive.

We were more than blinded by the light
we were deaf and dumb as well.
Never raised our voice in anger
Until we rang the final bell.

-chorus-
When the evening shadows fall,
in our Life's Late December,
will the pages written in our book
make us smile when we remember.
-

--bridge
Now I hope that love finds you
and that you find love in time
when you look up at the stars at night
know that yours will always shine...

-chorus-
When the evening shadows fall,
in our Life's Late December,
will the pages written in our book
make us smile when we remember.
