Liner Notes:

My son had brought up yesterday that Scooby Doo is going to be 50 this year (wow!) So, I wrote down some of my favorite cartoons through the years.

Everyone has their favorites
I most certainly do
My list is rather long
So they're lined up in a queue

Bugs Bunny
Yosemite Sam
Wile E. Coyote
Spider Man
Foghorn Leghorn
Scooby Doo
Under Dog
Mr. Magoo

But then there's

Johnny Quest
The Simpsons
Yogi Bear
The Jetsons
Huckleberry Hound
Atom Ant
Rocky & Bullwinkle
Spongebob Squarepants

I know I've missed some
Sometimes it's hard to tell
Oh, I forgot good old Felix
Popeye and Chip and Dale
And....

Ah, memories. I'll add Animaniacs to that list. The songs they had on that show were brilliant.

Fun and short song. When I was growing up the only cartoons we had on TV were "Tom and Jerry" and Disney animations. We had lost of puppet stop animations from the eastern block which were more "educational" ( too artistic for a child to enjoy ). Kids today, they don't appreciate what they got. When I was a kid...( grumble mumble ) ...no respect ( grumble mumble )... Smile

Oh yeah. That makes me think of so many cartoons! How cool! Smurfs. I so loved the Smurfs. And the Charlie Brown specials. Oh my goodness! And just think, we had to wait for Saturday morning to watch cartoons. They're 24/7 for kids now.

Nice memories beautifully assembled! P.S. "Daddy Crisp" was a brand of potato chip in the 1960s.
