Liner Notes:

When you remember it's happening 20 minutes in AAAND your sister calls during your mad-dash writing... oh well, #3, written. mostly.

Lyrics:

What you did is a little bit troubling
I'm not losing sleep or my footing
Hanging on like I do ain't easy
But I'm riding this one out believe me

That ain't on me
No, that ain't on me

What comes around goes around
What goes up comes down
Baby you best hold on now
Here comes the shockwave

What I saw was a little bit troubling
Like the stars were falling around me
There's beauty left here in the wreckage
And a white-hot heart too good for vengeance

That ain't on me
No that ain't on me

What comes around goes around
What goes up comes down
Baby you best hold on now
Here comes the shockwave

Nice work with the earthquake metaphor! You blow me away with the strength of the narrator's voice, just as you did in the other one I commented on. The beauty and the white-hot heart are gleaming. Well-done, newbie!!

Thank you Barbara Biggrin You're very kind! Now, I gotta work on music during the week for these before I forget where I was going with them, ya know? Lol terrified of recording, doesn't come easily, usually mega time consuming with minimal result, but I hope that improves over three months! Bless you!

All hail ‘Voice Memo’! Definitely don’t let the idea get away, that’s the main thing. Songs will evaporate as quickly as dream fragments, as we all probably know from painful experience. So what do you play? And how are you recording it? I’m purely iphone GarageBand; keeps it simple and quick.

Tight write! I hope this gets music. Nice work on the skirmish prompt!
