Liner Notes:
Hey, folks, I hope you're having a good day.
Here's a short odd-time weirdo instrumental for you.
The sounds are a Melodica and my solid-body, left-handed, electric ukulele.
I'm kinda out of practice; I've barely even picked up an instrument since February.
Time to get back in to the swing of things!
Mixed for headphones, of course!
Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

Incredible title, and the soar of the melodica slowly blending into the churning rumble of the electric uke does a great job bringing the 'drug' feel to life.
Interesting and, indeed, fun instrumental!
I've never heard a distorted ukulele before. It's really powerful and down to earth. The odd times makes my head spin. The ending is very good. Charming as ever.
Damn, this is head nodding coolness pleasing my ears, time sig works wonders. Thanks for the tags too, okay?
Really heavy, man, in many senses of the word. The fuzz uke rules, as does the bassoon-like melodica. And I like the little blurt at the end!
You had me at electric ukulele and melodica and odd time signature. Actually, from the title which this off-kilter instrumental certainly supports
Afterthought ending is great.
god i love this
Now that's a whole new dimension you have entered with the distortion, and indeed fuzz is very like taking drugs. Suddenly everything is larger.
Fuzzy and fuzz sound made for one another.
I dearly loved that abrupt change at 0:58 or so! Also just enjoying the sounds and the progressive sections in general. Mucho movement.
Keeps the listener off-balance at every turn: well done!
The melodica is amazing, as usual. Sounds huge, deep and 18' wide. Nice fuzz uke, more people should go down that road.
And dynamics -- the break in the middle is a nice fresh breeze before the uke returns. Nice punctuation at the end with one angry uke chord.
Awesome title hahaha I always love your wild instrumentals, great way to kick off 5090! I love how big the electric uke sounds!
I wholeheartedly concur.

Yup, that fuzzy uke is the best!
Just as I get settled into listening, you switch it up. God, I love how you do that.
I NEED A FRICKIN' MELODICA!
I so csme for The title haha. Like The dark style of the fist uke. Nicely put together
That is weird and compelling. From which Eastern European country is this a folk melody
?
Great kick off for 50/90, the first song I listened to this year. As always you do your thing and you do it really good. Cool fuzz uke sounds.
oddly catchy and head bobbingly fun. and of course has your fuzzy paws all over it.
Incredible, and a good mission song for putting together a bag of useful supplies before a grand adventure.
Nice trumpet intro...sounds like Sargent pepper...driving rhythm guitar. Nice change up. Grunge chop now...oh, it's over now. Hey, that's quite unique. I like it, great job on this.
I just took my headphones off because I was alone, but I put them back on for this!
I'm listening again now and, as usual, appreciating the weirdness. Quite a grungy sound out of that uke - I dig it! This one calls for words and vocals - a hypnotic melody emerges from the madness.
And, speaking of ... years ago when I was in high school, a friend went to a Madness (the old ska band) concert and came back with a "Fuck Art, Let's Dance" t-shirt. I coveted that shirt.
this has meditative quality to it. the melodica and distorted ukulele have a wild sound together. very cool.
Wow, this is cool! It got my feet tapping, that’s for sure. Great work mate
Crazy time! I get 3+3+4+5 for the first part and then seems you turned it around 5+4+3+3 for the last part. Very cool. Gonna have to plug in my electric uke and make me some fuzz. Good work. Thanks for posting to the challenge.
The melodica takes on an almost church organ quality at times. I love the odd time in this. I also love the manic mad energy. Like the Electric Mayhem decided to go emo or something.
About the title: Isn't drugs what we do to do art? I'm confused now hahahahaahahahahahah Really cool song, I didn't know this instrument, the melodica, it's an awesome full sound, love it!
I know this one has tons of comments but the title drew me in and I couldn't avoid listening any longer. Wow, this has a cool sense of tension. The melodica sounds theatric/dramatic at times and I love the sense of tension you build into it's playing. Combined with the distorted electric uke, you've created a sense of tension and release that's super cool. (not just cool, mind you. )
