Liner Notes:

Was talking to someone about being trapped. Then i was watching a movie and thougt yuk wouldnt want to be trapped in that - and another song was born! hunted for the cliches, sequel, take two, Director etc

Lyrics:

I'm not the director, Merely an actor
In this life long play

I've tried so hard, To change things around
Today and every day

I'm trapped yes trapped, Trapped yes trapped
Trapped inside a movie scene

I wish i knew,I wish i knew, What this will really mean

I've lost control, I have a modest role
In this unusual life

The cameras role, Its my life thats stole
I hear cut just like a knife

Im trapped yes trapped, Trapped yes trapped
Trapped inside a movie scene

I wish i knew, I wish i knew, What this will really mean

I hear take two, What can i do
Maybe try again

Try a different way, Make it pay
So it don’t turn out the same

I'm trapped yes trapped, Trapped yes trapped
Trapped inside a movie scene

I wish i knew, I wish i knew, What this will really mean

Make the most, don't want to boast
But hope all things are equal

So with any luck, The trend ill buck
Then i can play a sequel

Coz
I'm trapped yes trapped, Trapped yes trapped
Trapped inside a movie scene

I wish i knew, I wish i knew, What this will really mean

This has a rather laid-back vibe for a song that muses of someone being trapped. I like the "make the most, don't want to boast, but hope all things are equal" line. Nice work, man!

Cool easy upbeat groove which is a nice complement to the more anguished feel to lyric. I like the juxtaposition, it works well and is effective as it keeps the perspective hopeful versus ominous. Great sound and insightful perspective!

definitely nailed the cliches, but you CUT the ACTION before it got into rotten tomatoes territory. I think being trapped in a movie would be cool, but it depends on the movie. Hope you get cast in the sequel.

catchy as usual from you! i like the sort of close up but detached feel of it that suits the lyrics. interesting subject too.

Can't believe you're up to 14 already! This has a child-like charm and clever lyrics. I like the little things going on in the background as well! Lovely.

this song is addictive and it leaves me wanting to know what movie scene you are trapped in

I like the part about it being a modest role. Who among us hasn't felt like we were expendable extras in someone else's movie?

I think this is a really clever use of metaphor, with some great rhyme schemes utilised,

A joy to read from start to finish, and I felt it talking to me as a person who feels trapped in life.

Ahhh some electro vibes from you...indeed.
Tell me more about what you used to craft the backing track and what caught your ear about the sounds you chose?
I'll echo others here about the lyrics and their metaphoric, relatable character. So many lines to just say "yep..." to. You kept the theme of the song running throughout. Great writing
