Liner Notes:

greetings friends. feel free to put music to this... or maybe i'll get to it; we'll see.

Lyrics:

chorus:

if you've ever dreamed in techni-
color
you'd agree the signs are quite ab-
surd
if you've looked above to really
wonder
(you would) find there's floating pictures in the
bird

verse 1:

i see eye-to-eye with daily
paper in my hand
you won't see me caffinate; it's
bitter in demand

drive my car to work and it's a
grand old time inside
(for) im not really thinking
(ex)cept within my mind

[repeat chorus]

verse 2:

you dance toe-to-toe with all the
glitter in the sky
i sit looking on in awe to
smile and ask you why

if you see the lion, don't
look at him too close
(his) mane gives a reflection
(for) secrets no-one knows

[repeat chorus]

bridge:

please don't fear me,
you look weary,
rest your head and sleep

[minimalist improv]

[absurd vocal sample]

Definitely a psychedelic feel to these lyrics -- verse 2 is particularly good, I think.

An artful lyric that dances along the knife-edge between the real and surreal. A lot of things shone in a new (sparkling) light. 'you won't see me caffeinate / it's bitter in demand' spoke to me - coffee does also taketh as it giveth.
