prompt seeds

Every 2-3 years I write a kid's tune. Here it is. I'd have to raise the key a bit to come across in a room full of squirmy kids.

Guitars: Guild D-25 (capo II)
Note: Skirmish: 1 hour to write and record

They come in all sizes
With clever disguises
Adapted to nourish their needs
I find them enchanting
And so good for planting
A life giving wonder they're seeds!

It's not always child's play
Some come in a wild way
And fill up my garden with weeds
I must say for the most part
They load up my food cart
I can't help but love 'em those seeds

I don't want to modify
What's in my sod oh my
Keep out them robotic breeds
Seems nowadays the bold way
Is to leave 'em the old way
And treasure our dear heirloom seeds.

I can sit by the fire at night
After I've had a bite
Turning some extras to beads
As long as I save enough
To grow some munchy stuff
I'm doin' right by my seeds

What a pleasant, hummable tune. Ideal for a kids' song. Great skirmishing!
