Liner Notes:

after musicating the classic poems, im back to writing some more original songs

Lyrics:

what we gonnna do this morning what we gonna do tonight
what we gonna do in the space between the darkness and the light
you say our life is glamorous hey baby dont pretend
we are just a couple boring people waiting for the movie to end

ive got red carpet invitations we could catch a world premiere
but fashion week is over so youve got nothing to wear
soyou make love to yourself while i talk on the phone
somebody is knocking on the door but we both want to be alone

what we gonnna do this morning what we gonna do tonight
what we gonna do in the space between the darkness and the light
you say our life is glamorous we have beautiful friends
but thery're just a crowd of boring people waiting for the movie to end

i just fnished post production dubbing jean renos lines
youre cleaning out your closet of yesterdays designs
not much work now for a girl like you unless you go down among the sharks
and theres nothing left for me except a summer of shakespeare in the park

repeat first chorus

Interesting idea and you are so creative with it. Good write, good song!

I like this fun song, lyric and the style you choose for it. Well done.

-- FYI, you know I can only get Peru Internet via shortwave radio, and this other phucking station kept bleeding in Crazy get peru to reboot; who's john balooshee?

This has a great groove! Love love love the intro ! Great energy on the harmonica. Great fun!

I like these down to earth songs around the edge of the glamour world! Still a sucker for the harmonica!

Sure screams tremendous like a wonderful Dylan tune. Nice lyrics, and great storytelling

I kind of feel that this is the way most people's lives go, celebrity or not. That's great theatrical opener, and the tune is a bouncy/catchy good time. Dubbing Jean Reno's lines sounds like a respectable gig Smile

Really unique tune and subject. Beginning is inspired! The lyrics roll out like credits on a movie screen. "Somebody is knocking on the door but we both want to be alone" is a great line, and the whole thing bounces along like a fab Dylan tune. Nice!

That's some spot on critique (I can imagine).. with some great introduction to make this song appreciate even more. I like the jumpiness of the harmonica very much (kind of happy) and how words won't hinder you from singing them even if there are lots in a line, that actually sounds very funny and good. Enjoyed listening to this very much!

Hey this is pretty cool with the juxtaposition of the intro on reality the movie set and the insightha assumed glamour of the movie star life. Great melody and the harmonic is really fine. Awesome acting too. It seems you write from experience as it is so vivid and honest feeling. Really loved my glimpse behind the scenes.
