kind of corny but I wanted to do a standard jazz kind of thing. Only got one A and one B but it's about bedtime and I haven't had dinner so I'll have to go with this for now. BTW it's a true story.

Guitars: Guild D-25
Note: Skirmish: 1 hour to write and record

In That Moment

In that moment when I first saw your eyes
The Universe conspired to bring me love
And in that special moment when I heard your voice
Everything was in its place
From earth to stars above

How could it possibly be
That of all the tables
In all the rooms
You were sitting right in front of me.
Improbable it seems
Like a movie or a dream
Yet there we were
No one could ever
Come up with such a scheme.

Lovely ‘love at first sight song’ - it’s feels really personal and digging that jazz guitar! Thanks for the skirmish Smile

Sweet tune, and I like the way the melody climbs. The "how could it be" verse seems very classic, a sentiment we might have heard from Sinatra.

Sweet song, lovely melody. And great vulnerability in both performance and lyrics.
