Liner Notes:

prompt distraction

Yeah, good prompt. Be fun to rock this one up. It could be quite distracting with a Marshall behind it.

Guitars: Guild D-25
Note: Skirmish: 1 hour to write and record

Tryin' to get things done
So I can have a little fun
Maybe find me some action
Workin' here alone
All of a sudden you're on the phone

Been workin' on solutions
Life is goin' through evolution
Tryin' to get me some traction
Sweepin' up the floor
Next thing I know you're at the door

It's so hard to concentrate
Ever since we went on that blind date
You won't leave me alone
It's not that I don't think you're nice
But you're not part of my paradise
Get out of my zone!

Went to get a bite to eat
There you were across the street
Tryin' to make a distraction
Let me make it clear
Girl I want you out of here
If you come near you won't like my reaction

What a kickin' groove to the chord progression here. I can totally hear this rockin' out. Great write! One of my favourites of your songs I've heard yet. Smile

That guitar sounds good and the playing on this song sounds even better. I like the melody, too. This is a darn fine skirmish song.

Love the rock feel to this. It is good action and no distractions for me! I liked the structure a lot and the distraction rymes that you did.

Oh yeah, this sounds great. LOve your vox and fanb energy in the performance. Love the in your face-vox that delivers the message. SUPER COOL Skirmish
