Alex sez: There is a shortage, a severe shortage, of songs about rechargeable batteries. Andy wrote three lyrics for me to consider recording from, about a newly developing rechargeable battery technology involving a niobium tungsten oxide matrix instead of the more common graphite matrix, for lithium ion batteries. It promises to develop less dendrites and charge more rapidly. This is good.

And the song's not too shabby, I think.

Lyrics:

Chorus
Niobium tungsten
Niobium tungsten
Charge deeper charge faster
Niobium tungsten
Niobium tungsten
Makes batteries last

Verse 1
Intercalate
I don’t know
Fast transfer rate
I don’t know

Repeat chorus

Verse 2
Smaller plate
I don’t know
Electrolytes
I don’t know

Bridge
Meanwhile I’m stuck in stall 36
For another two hours
Nothing to do but watch the charge meter tick
Trickling lithium ion graphite power
Dreaming of

Repeat chorus

I really enjoyed this song - lyrics, guitar, and vocals are great. The "I don't know" is so funny and perfect Smile

I'm gonna be singing that chorus in my Leaf from now on. Super catchy. and begging for harmonies.
