Liner Notes:

First blues of the summer... kind of a cop out, I guess. But it was fun to play.

Lyrics:

I'm gonna throw a party
Invite the whole block
Gonna drink a pint of whiskey
Gonna toast you every shot
After you've gone
I won't be sad no more
I wish you'd stop threatening
Go ahead and walk out that door

I'm gonna buy a neck tie
Gonna dress up nice and tight
I'm gonna be celebrating
I'll party straight through the night
After you've gone
I won't be sad no more
I wish you'd stop threatening
And go ahead, walk out that door

I'm gonna go out dancing
Gonna put on my brand new shoes
I'm gonna dance with all the ladies
Every single one of them but you
After you've gone
I won't be sad no more
I wish you'd stop threatening
Go on ahead, walk out that door

Man oh man dat is some mighty fine blues guitar playing! Nicely written lyrics had me wanting her to leave too! Soulful singing on top of everything else makes this a really sweet song! Nice take on the skirmish!

Awesome guitar playing. Smile And nice lyrics. But for me, the star of the show was definitely the guitar. Great work! Biggrin
