Liner Notes:

I was perusing the various challenges earlier while with my son at a medical appointment, and saw the #PhoneApp challenge. I thought, perfect, put in an ear bud, and got to work in GarageBand. Once I had the basic framework done, I grabbed my notebook and pen and got to work on the lyrics. In keeping with the challenge, the vocals are recorded using the phone's on board mic, so they're pretty sub-par ... that and allergy season have left some notable ugly spots in the vocals. Ah well. Smile

Lyrics:

Don't know where I went wrong
But I know I've got to change
I said I don't know where I went wrong
But I know I've got to change
Oh, 'cause all I've got left is this
Empty house of heartache and pain.

Two weeks since you've been gone
And I'm still aching inside
Oh, two weeks since you've been gone
And I'm still aching inside
Changed your number, changed your name
Don't think I'll ever see you again

I'm out on the street now
Trying hard to disappear
Oh, I'm out on the street now
Trying hard to disappear
I know I don't deserve you baby
That's the truth, it's coming clear

All that in GarageBand? Awesome! It's just sitting there on my phone - I've never used it.
That's a tasty guitar lead you have going, and I like the sounds that combine for the hypnotic, sort of exotic groove. Vocal sounds fine to me - desperate and dramatic. Good stuff all around.

Man, that's some nice guitar tone -- the lead. Nice backing too, supports it well.

And the lyric, well, that's a blues tune. Well done, things have gone wrong, and empty house, someone's gone and changed their number, and now you're trying to disappear.

Really well done, makes me think of Bonamossa a bit. The guitar bits are just about perfect.

great guitar and well sung. Gary Moore returns!!! really cool
