Liner Notes:

I pulled this one outta my butt this morning, -- 30 mins to write/record Crazy

-- Never had any of my own kids, but raised many nonetheless. Based on a real one in my life, -- no accounting for environment vs genetics Crazy

A bunch other weird ones I can't share here... -- just flooding out; no life changing hits yet, but, I'll let you know Wink (then you'll wish you were nicer Wink )

Lyrics:

G D
I was born in '95, to a country hive
Am C
My first job I cried when my boss tanned my hyde
G D
I looked and took and read all my books
Am C G ////
And applied all I knew to get only good looks

CH:
D Em
Oh Millenial child not woman, nor man
D C ////
So PC cooked so will never get wild
G D
I'll work for you if you promise you're mild ...

G D
I married keen, well for the time being
Am C
S/he's OK, makes really great pay
G D
First house a mansion, don't get all the passion
Am C G ////
Empty nesters, complain mortgage rates

[Chorus]

G D
I moved to Seattle. then Portland then back
Am C
They had better hash at discont and black
G D
I still read allot but now legally stoned
Am C G ////
Sit on my ass with my Lama named Max

[Chorus]

G D
I don't see what the fuss is, this country is great
Am C
I get what I want and I get it post haste
G D
I'm glad we're now running it, Beijing is great
Am C G ////
They help me so much and don't make me do stuff

[Chorus]

G D
They say I'll retire, by Fourty no less
Am C
They got millions of folks to clean up my mess
G D
Excuse me while I lay down to nap
Am C G ////
I smoked to much hash, and the coke was just crap

[Chorus]

good chord progression. i like melodies that play ff descending bass lines. lots of good lines in the lyric, ot the least of which is the last one about the hash and coke. i really like the variousshading of your voice on this one.

I'm digging the Dylanesque vibe you got going here with a pretty solid chord progression. I like the verse about how "the country is great", it's wonderfully sarcastic. Good work!
