I Don't Care

I Don't Care

Liner Notes:

I'm having a hard time actually WRITING songs now...
I've always been an instrumental type guy, without the task of coming up with lyrics, PLAYING them with this synth-singer thingy, and all that jazz...
When I started this song, I didn't think I'd include it in 50/90 and was just gonna have an instrumental for my library. But I decided that I'm way behind and I need to put everything I make now up on 50/90 cause ...y'know...FIFTY SONGS and such..
Even though I didn't make music most of this week, I still feel like I need to take a break lol
Anyway - manipulated a guitar sample to death with effects, made a simple drum pattern and crunchied that up, added some vocal chops, did the synth voice thing, and played some psychydelly piano stuff on top of it all...

Whatever you wanna do
I don't care as long as I'm with you (repeats)

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

maybe it is the time of day i am listening but this reminded me of early morning festival chilled vibe as the new day opens up. cool sounds, good beat but floaty.

This was cool right from the start. And again with your vocal samples used to good effect. I like the arrangement. I like those keys. And I appreciate you posting a bit about your process in creating. That's almost as interesting as listening to your music.

Really nice vibe to this. Smile Relaxing, for sure. And I really like those vocals. Now I want to mess about with electronic vocals, myself! How did you do it, if you don't mind me asking?

Excellent. Glad I came across this--I had seen a note by you elsewhere about the software (Plogue?) that you used to do the vocal. I was an earlier adopter of Vocaloid years ago for voice synthesis, but always been disappointed in its results. Might have to try your recommendation.

Good stuff, I really like the big drum sound you've got going on here and the synthesized vocal works well.
