Liner Notes:

Collab with @kahlo213 - one of many but this is the first time I've put her lyrics to rock music! Hope you like it, Liz!

Lyrics:

V1
find the time
seek the answers
make the music
be the dancers

V2
find the joy
seek the trusting
make the peace
be the loving

C
there's no more time
for excuses
there's no more time
for abuses
find the time for humanity

there's no more time
for hiding
there's no more time
for lying
find the time for honesty

(we've got to) find the time
(got to) find the time
now

V3
find the truth
seek the living
make the gift
be the giving

find the light
seek the brightness
make the warmth
be the kindness

C
there's no more time
for excuses
there's no more time
for abuses
find the time for humanity

there's no more time
for hiding
there's no more time
for lying
find the time for honesty

(we've got to) find the time
(got to) find the time
now!

I really like the rockin' music! And I like the short verse lines and how they rotate depending upon what they find. A lot of ground is covered so concisely! Nicely written. The vocal and delivery are very natural and invested. I think the music complements the lyric with flair!

liz is one of my favorite lyricists and you have really brought these lyrics alive with the choppy guitar and wailing vocals.

A compelling beat adds to the urgency of the lyrics’ message.

Great bluesy rock sound - really captures the 60s protest rock sound and that riff is relentless. "Find the time for humanity" is such a strong message. Great song both

Love this rock track you have. It feels edgy and urgent. Makes the lyrics really pop. Bam! That is a rocker!

head nodding bluesy rock riff to some classic protest song lyrics, lovely delivery - i was imagining woodstock and people diggin it and dancing to it. nice collab
