Liner Notes:

I wanted to do much catchup last night, so I started this one immediatly after the last one. Lyrics are both about the Zelda enemy and other stream-of-consciousness stuff. Little disjointed into the chorus, but I think it works.

Also sorry for audible click. Sad

Lyrics:

Verse 1:
Coming up
When I bomb the wall
Coming out
Of your panic station

Say your prayers
It's a free-for-all
Say a prayer
Cause your spine is aching

Her skin was off-white, zombielike
She started seeing sepia
Role reversals, no rehearsal
Always getting sleepier

Chorus:
A timebomb's in my pocket
And y'know, I'm so happy to see you
I waited at the temple
And I thought that maybe I could be...

Verse 2:
Coming up
When I bomb the wall
Coming out
Of your panic station

Say your prayers
It's a free-for-all
Say a prayer
Cause your spine is aching

Pretended it was casual
But it was much more serious
She faded out into the fog
Unfaithful and myserious

Chorus:
A timebomb's in my pocket
And y'know, I'm so happy to see you
I waited at the temple
And I thought that maybe I could be...

Really wonderful! Great groove and nice counterpoint to the vocal melody in the verses. Strong storytelling. Works really well.

I love the feel of this song - stripped-down and gritty yet fully realized, too. The melodic interplay of bass and guitar is hypnotic and compelling. Sinister, groovy, and smart - great song!
