Liner Notes:

Some self deprecation in classic, Weezer-influenced, power chord form. I'm also picking up a bit of influence from Littlest Man Band and Pretty. Odd. era Panic! At The Disco in this one.

Huge thanks to my friend Will McCarthy @willguitar100 for programming some drums and doing some production on this one to give it that extra punch!

Lyrics:

Verse 1:
Turn yourself into 2D
And twist the lock with your ice key

Now I'm hypnotized
And I'm lost in time
And these words don't mean a thing

And my line of sight
Doesn't quite look right
But it makes me wanna sing

Chorus:
I'm sure I'll find it eventually
But it won't make me happy
Getting off the ride might be suicide
But it's surely worth a try

I'm too young to die

Verse 2:
No one wants to hear me sing
Or let me express anything

I'm an idiot
And I feel like shit
Cause they kick me when I'm down

But I blame myself
Everybody else
Just happens to be around

Chorus:
I'm sure I'll find it eventually
But it won't make me happy
Getting off the ride might be suicide
But it's surely worth a try

I'm too young to die

i love it when something new is created with classic doo wop chord progressions.

Definitely hearing some Weezer in this. Gives an impression of a high school kid trying to be accepted. I like it!

Awesome slow classic rock ballad that bucks tradition taking the familiar elements and turning them into a song with an sharp insightful introspective edge and a smoldering almost dark sound. Brilliant!

I like that doo wop feel to this. The lyric lines flow well...lots to ponder in this. I like all the musical elements...they work well together! Nicely done!

DOO WOP FEEL^^^?? That just makes me think of the Oh Girl demo mwahhah, my fav. But I keep having the "I'm too young to die" part in my head. I think that means it's good Smile

This reminds me of Pinkerton era Weezer, my favorite era for power chord rock! I dig the lyrics, melody, and production of the demo! Nice work dood.
