Liner Notes:

This is total fiction. I've never been locked up and those "crazy boys" were mostly surfers and peaceful hippies. Maybe it's what happened to my doppleganger in an alternat universe.

Excuse the sloppy demo, I'm tired from all this wonderful skirmishing.

Guitars: Guild D-25

Note: Skirmish: 1 hour to write and record

Lyrics:

Locked In, Locked Out.

I got locked up in a cage
At an early age
Payin' for the bad things I done
Broke the law spirit and letter
I shoulda known better
Thought I was just havin' fun.

Ch
Locked in, locked out
Wonderin' what it's all about
Want to argue? Want to shout
Don't let it end this way.
Locked out, locked in
All the places we have been
You tell me that it's wearin' thin
Don't let it end today.

Hangin' with those crazy boys
We sure made a lot of noise
Runnin' wild into the night
Not givin' it much thought
'til the night we got caught
Learned a hard lesson alright

[Ch]

Bridge
I was stumblin' through life
Lookin' for the key
And there you were
You set me free
So I could finally see
That miracles occur

Vs
I met you one day
Wanderin' down the way
Gave me the change I need
Now I've cleaned up my act
As a matter of fact
Thank you for planting the seed

[Ch]
Don't let it end this way.
Don't let it end today.

This just has that indefinable quality of professionalism. I could absolutely see this being played on the radio. Well done!

First two sung lines capture the ear! good performance, I liek the lyrics, lovely and just right guitar. Storyline is good too.

This has a compelling foot-tapping momentum; it sounds rugged and gritty and raw. Very cool!
