Chance Meeting

One day as I was walkin' through the city
All alone in my thoughts
There you were, a bright light in the gritty
Talkin' on your phone with packages you'd bought

I came a bit closer
Somehow caught your eye

It was a chance meeting
A fleeting glance
A casual greeting
That led to romance
It seemed so worth repeating
That accidental touch
Left my heart beating
I wanted you so much

We got to talkin' had a cup of tea
Didn't have no common friends
As to the future of it we'll just have to see
Can't say how this might end

I like that. Got a nice vibe. Lyrics fit really well with the music. Nice skirmish

Catchy little tune! I agree, horns would be a good addition and give it a little extra oomph. Nicely done!

Catchy tune. I like the slightly jazzy chords. It sounds good to me with just guitar and vocals. I like the dynamics of the guitar playing - the shifts between quite aggressive strumming and simple swept chords. Good vocals, too.
