Liner Notes:

Stream of consciousness (about letting go off the ego) to be chopped later on to make more sense.

It was quite satisfactory to import that sample (Indian vocals) into this project and notice it worked (for me).

I also made it a challenge to import parts of flute and strings loops from looperman.com and getting that in-and-out-of tune vibe.

Lyrics:

My own ego
is starving

All we do
is hide
ourselves
from dying
we long to be
very young

I feel
the way you do

And I feel
that I'm closer than ever
to real

My own ego
is starving

It's close
and I'm strong
and I love what I do

And I feel
that I'm closer than ever
to real

And I feel
what I always have felt:
I feel
that I'm closer than ever
to real

I feel
that I'm closer than ever
to real

Oh I really love this! The looping, the lyrics, and your vocals sound like John Lennon on this one. Wonderful Ferry!

i think this is the first time i have heard somebody do beatles psychedelic better than the beatles. you could sneak this track onto a beatles out take bootleg and nobody would blink an eye.

Cool track, like the droneing repetitive feel, lots of interesting sounds, the Indian vocal sample works really great. I wish your vocals were a little bit louder, but otherwise it sounds great.

Like a psychedelic wash of sound over the soul ... I like the Indian stuff a lot, and it goes with the spiritual bent of the lyrics. Really, really nice and melodic and mind-expanding!

The rolling backing is great and the Indian vocal fits in really well with the feel.

You're a master of the expansive psychedelic sound. There's something bright and happy here; I never know how these things work, just how they make me feel. That high vocal is pretty cool. Looperman you say? For the last several years I've been telling myself that I would actually learn something about how to make music. Maybe next year Smile
