First of August, Tuesday, the Catalytic Perverters practice. This song is an improvised with overdubbed vocals.

There was some conversation about Iggy Pop's shirtless rocking in his 70's and some other conversation about how Joe B and Murray weren't inclined to punch their own tickets at any point. The tail end of the conversation can barely be heard at the beginning, when I start noodling, which leads to everyone joining in. I made up words, but we're not recording the live vocals. Instead I overdubbed a vocal track later, doing them in one take, based upon what I could remember from the night before. I think it keeps the improvised feel of the instrumentation.

It's a bit sweary.

the Catalytic Perverters:
Joe B. - drums
Brian Murray - bass
plainwhitetoast - guitar and vocals

Lyrics:

You ain't like me
you're gonna ride this mother fucker till the end
You ain't like me
you're gonna ride
as long as you've got t.v. and music
Even if you get Lou Gehrig's disease
you're gonna ride this mother fucker till the end

You ain't like me
you're gonna ride
I'm more like George Eastman
don't see much reason to wait around
You ain't like me
you're gonna ride, you're gonna ride, yeah
I'm more like George Eastman
the last sound I'll hear is "click!"

No, you ain't like me.
You're gonna ride

You ain't like me
you're gonna ride this mother fucker till the end
You ain't like me
as long as you've got music and t.v.
You ain't like me
you're gonna ride this mother fucker till the end
Even if you get Lou Gehrig's disease
you're gonna ride this mother fucker till the end
ride it till the end
you're gonna ride
you're gonna ride, you're gonna ride, you're gonna ride

Totally awesome guitar and great drums and bass. This is a great sound and different than what I expected! Cool groove that has a wonderful rock feel reminiscent of the cool rock of the 70a that my brother would crank up on his stereo in his bedroom below mine. Love it! Oh yeah and the attitude in the lyric is perfect! Great vocals!
